Prairie Hill Air Force Auxiliary Airfield is a former military installation located in Limestone County, Texas, United States of America. It was originally built in 1943 as an auxiliary airfield for the Waco Army Air Field during World War II. The airfield was used primarily for training pilots in the operation of the B-25 Mitchell bomber, and it was also used for training glider pilots.

After the war, the airfield was transferred to the jurisdiction of the United States Air Force and was used as a training facility for the Texas Air National Guard. The airfield was also used for training by the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy.

Prairie Hill Air Force Auxiliary Airfield was decommissioned in the 1960s and is now used as a private airport. The airfield features a single runway, which is approximately 5,000 feet long and 100 feet wide. The runway is made of asphalt and is equipped with various navigational aids.

Today, Prairie Hill Air Force Auxiliary Airfield serves as a reminder of the important role that military installations played in the defense of the United States during World War II and the Cold War era.
