Ci Buntu is an intermittent stream located in West Java, Indonesia. It originates from the highlands of the Bandung Regency and flows towards Cililin and Cicalengka before emptying into the Citarum River. The stream's path is approximately 25 kilometers long and its width varies between 10 to 15 meters.

During the rainy season, Ci Buntu flows with a strong current and its water level rises to a height of 2 to 3 meters. However, during the dry season, the stream's water level drops significantly, and the stream may entirely dry up. The stream's bed is made up of rocks and boulders, and the surrounding area is characterized by lush vegetation and farmland.

Ci Buntu is an essential source of water for the people living in the surrounding villages as it provides irrigation for crops and drinking water for livestock. However, the stream is also prone to flooding during heavy rains, which can cause damage to the houses and farmland in the surrounding area. The local government has implemented measures to mitigate the risk of flooding, such as constructing dams and embankments. Despite these efforts, the intermittent nature of the stream makes it a challenging environment to manage.
